Leningrad Cowboy's "Stairway to Heaven"

One of my favourite songs of one of my favourite bands, Led Zeppelin... covered by the Finnish rock band “Leningrad Cowboys” (amazing this guys) with The Red Russian Army Choir (so great!), a musical combination that I love to hear... wonderful, just incredibly fantastic, breathtaking…

If you hear the famous final chorus, you’ll see that whey mix the original “Stairway to Heaven” lyrics with “Katyusha” (or Katjusha), a Russian Soviet wartime song about a girl longing for her beloved, who is away on military service.

For those impatients, I recommend to hear from 6.40… Here you have the lyrics of the main chorus, with the Katyusha lyrics too (I made them by myself... hope it fits the true xP)

Enjoy

Oh! And I like so much the Russian accented “And it makes me wonder, and it makes me wonder” sang by the chorus xDD

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul

Rastsvetali iabloni i grushi!

There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
Poplyli tumany nad rekoj!

How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
Vykhodila na bereg Katyusha!

The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
Woe oh oh oh oh oh!
To be a rock and not to roll
Woe oh oh oh oh oh!

Woe oh oh oh oh!
Woe oh oh oh oh!
Woe oh oh oh oh!

And she's buying a stairway to heaven…
